Re: Simple newbie question: Astah analysis of existing Java classes
Hello Rbateman,

Thank you for your post.

You are right that Astah Community edition does not have Java Import features. One option you could do with using Astah Professional Free Trial (50days) or if you are a student, you can get a free license of Astah Professional from here.

Cheers,
SJ

Simple newbie question: Astah analysis of existing Java classes
For use at home, I just don't have the financial resources at my disposal or the justification to purchase a license.

The community edition does not, apparently, analyse existing Java classes. At least, I could not make Astah do it. Is this right?

I don't need the full power of Astah at home. I'm just looking for a tool that will let me dump a bunch of existing classes into it and look at the diagrams so I can say, "Oh, okay, I get it" and move on.

Otherwise, Astah is obviously a first-rate, dynamite tool.

Thanks for any comments or suggestions.
