How to add an interface's method in a sequence diagram? hello,
I would like to make this : I have a class realizing an interface, and I would like to have it represented in 2 diagrams : -components diagram -sequence diagram (I would like to make a message which destination is one of the method of the interface; maybe I am not clear: the interface is e.g. MyInterface containing the method doSomething(). the class A call B.doSomething : B realizes MyInterface, in the sequence diagram) how can I do this? I created in the component diagram the 2 components (the 2 classes), I created the interface between two ports in each component. In a class diagram, I added to this interface its methods, but in the sequence diagram I can't find the method. thank you, olivier |

Re: How to add an interface's method in a sequence diagram? I found a way to do this: in the sequence diagram, after having clicked in the picture "create a new lifeline", at the bottom-left there is a combobox named "operation" and I could choose the interfaces operation I want.

Re: How to add an interface's method in a sequence diagram? Hi there,
Glad that you managed to figure this out. We've had several emails with the exact same question to our support, so it should be added on Astah TIPS soon. Thank you. Cheers, SJ |
