I had a look at the astah* API, because I was interested in creating Activity Diagrams with your API. Sadly, the documentation states that it is currently not possible to create Activity Diagrams. Do you plan on adding support for Activity Diagrams in the near future?

As far as I know, we do not have any specific plan to support an ability to create Activity diagrams via API at this moment. If we receive more requests on this, we'll put in on our future release plans for sure. If that happens, I'll let you know on here. :)

Thank you for your answer.

I think, in general you should consider adding support for all the yet unsupported model types. This would help to create proper importers and exporters for other modelling tools and allow the exchange of models over the boundaries of one modelling tool.
