Thank you for using Astah.

There are three ways to remove the brackets.

■Option A: Removing from specific message

Right-click on the message you want to remove the brackets off, then take the check off of "Massage Parameter Visibility" option.




















■Option B: Removing from all the messages in each diagram

Select a Sequence diagram in the structure tree, then go to the left bottom pane and select [Base] tab and check off "Message Parameter Visibility (Initial)" option.















New messages you create after making this change will no longer have the brackets.

■Option C: (Default setting per project)

Go to [Tool] - [System Properties] - [Initial Visibility2] and then check off the "Message Parameter - [Sequence Diagram]" box and click [Apply] - [OK].
















After making this change, all the messages will be created without brackets.
