2. Description
There are two ER Entities with an Identifying Relationship, and the parent Entity has a primary key and child Entity has its foreign key as a primary key too. Also the Child Entity has a Non-Identifying Relationship to itself.
In this case, an exception happens when changing the parent Entity's primary key information(*) or saving a file after changing it.
(* logical name, physical name, data type, length/precision, initial value and definition)

e.g. Changing information of ER Entity A's primary key "C" causes an exception error













3. Solution
Delete ([Delete from Model] from Pop-up menu) the Non-Identifying Relationship (The pink line in the figure above) before changing the parent Entity's Primary key information. After having it changed, re-create the Non-Identifying Relationship at the end.
