When I drag a file from the OS's shell and I drop it on a use case, I can create a link to that file so I dont need to open the file's original editor (MS Word, for example), find the file location and open it. I just click on the icon and Jude opens it for me.
How can I delete the link to that file without having to delete the use case and recreating it?

Follow these steps to delete the link to the file.

1. Right-Clicking on the UseCase to have Pop-Up Menu Open.
2. Select [Hyperlink] - [Edit Hyperlink].
or you could right-clicking directly on the hyperlink icon that locates right-top of the UseCase then select [Edit Hyperlink].
3. A dialog pops up and shows the list of all files that are linked to the UseCase.
4. Select the file you want to remove then click [Delete].

Hi there,

I too have trouble deleting or editing a file association. I am using the community edition, and the option for Edit Hyperlink is not there.

Any suggestions welcome!

I am afraid that [Edit Hyperlink] is an additional feature
that is included only in JUDE/Professional version.

To delete Hyperlink, please use JUDE/Professional Evaluation version.

You can obtain Evaluation License for free from here.
http://jude.change-vision.com/jude-web/getEvaluationLicenseButton.do

Because hyperlinks are not supposed to be edited in Community Version.
