How to name initial state and final state ? |

How to name initial state and final state ? I would like to name my initial state to "Created", and my 3 different final states to "Cancelled", "Rejected", "Refused", "Hired".
Is it valid UML to name initial and final states ? If so, how can this be done in Astah ? |
