How do I group items so that I can move them around as a group? |

How do I group items so that I can move them around as a group? I know I can control click to group items and then drag them around as a group, but this isn't 'sticky.' I want to be able to set a group of items so I can drag them around later as well and not always have to go back and individually select the items. I'm guessing there is a way to do this but I haven't found it.
