How to underline objects in sequence diagrams? When creating a lifeline with a name, say, "object" and a base class "BaseClass", I'd expect to see the text "object: BaseClass" underlined. I see that text, but not underlined.
As far as I know, UML requires underlining to specify class instances, while, when not underlined, the names refer to the class itself. How can I have the text underlined? Thank you. |

Re: How to underline objects in sequence diagrams? Hello Sherlock,
You are able to show the text in lifeline box with underline. 1) Go to [Tool] - [System Properties] to open [System Properties] window 2) Select [UML 2.x] from the left list 3) Tick the [Show with UML 1.4 notation (some elements)] and click [Apply] - [OK] Then the text in lifeline box should appear with underline.
