Thanks for your post. That seems strange because you should be able to move up the bottom line of the partitions up to kill the blank space within the partitions in any Activity diagrams. Which version of Astah are you using? (e.g: Astah Community 6.7?) Could you send us the .asta file to our technical support via email?
