When you are creating a Mind Map, you may come across to the point where you want to move a main focus on a child topic and explore it in a new Mind Map with it centered sometimes.

Today's tip is to show you how to do so "easily" by one-click.

1. For example, you have this Mind Map as the figure below(*1), and you want to focus on the [Useful Function] topic appears on top left and create a new Mind Map with it in center







2. Right-click on [Useful Functions] topic and then select [Split Topic to New Mindmap] from its Pop-up menu





3. Now a new Mind Map is created with [Useful Functions] as a Root topic







4. When you go back to the original Mind Map, you see the Hyperlink icon is added on the right top of the topic, which leads you to the new Mind Map created at step3










(*1) This Mind Map is included in astah*. To open this Mind Map, go to [Help] - [Welcome to astah* professional] (UML or community, depends on which edition you use.)
