How to declare a Final (Java keyword for Constant atributes) class?
Hi there.

I'm using JUDE 5.52.

I want to know a way to represent a "Final Class" on a class diagram, i'm modeling a Java system.

Hi Rafa_T,

There are two ways to declare a final class. However the appearance in the diagram would not change.

1. Set the [Leaf] to [true] in the Property view of Class
1) Select a Class in the Structure Tree or diagram to show the property of Class in the left bottom pane
2) Set [true] for the [Leaf]

2. Set [final] in the [Language] tab in the property view of Class
(Applicable in JUDE/Professional, astah* UML, astah* professional only)
1) Select a Class in the Structure Tree or diagram to show the property of Class in the left bottom pane
2) Select [Language] Tab and then check on [final]

FYI, JUDE has been upgraded its versions with many new features and bug fixes with its name being changed to astah*. Take a look at astah* and upgrade to the latest if you can.

Cheers,
SJ
